Among all the cities I have seen in the US, which are not too many, Boston scores highest in terms of likeability and liveability. It is simply a very possible, enjoyable, and even hospitable city.
If you don't mind me ignoring all the funny pictures I found on the web which try to demonstrate how Boston cityline is similar to Manhattan and post these photos (which reflect my image of the city, I hope you dont mind.
Other than hosting MIT and Harvard Boston also has a lovely museum of art, a number of historical sites and stories, a rather environmentally friendly transport system and a generally nice aura.
